Capability Building Programs

Capability Building Programs

The CORE Districts offer several training programs in disciplined, continuous improvement to educators serving in CORE schools and districts.

Local Improvement Facilitator Training Intensive

The Local Improvement Facilitator Training Intensive (LIFT) is a year-long, cohort-based learning experience that prepares selected individuals to become advanced improvement facilitators. The course builds on the foundational knowledge provided through CORE’s 2017-2018 LIFT Program, but also welcomes new facilitators who have not explored these ideas as deeply yet. Continuing LIFT participants will not find the experience redundant, but rather that the course extends their initial improvement learning while integrating more facilitation and equity-focused content.

Executive Leadership for Improvement and Equity

The Executive Leadership for Improvement and Equity (ELIE) program is designed to support CORE district executive leaders in developing the knowledge, skills and dispositions to lead for improvement and equity. The ELIE program supports system leaders who are interrupters of systemic oppression and structural racism to use the tools of improvement science to build equity-centered cultures within their districts.
