Assessment Modules

To build understanding and expertise in the type of instructional shifts required by California State Standards, the CORE Districts facilitated an ambitious formative assessment initiative involving the development, pilot testing, and refinement of a set of 64 performance assessment modules. These formative assessment modules were kick-started by teachers and teacher coaches, and piloted by approximately 400 classroom teachers, engaging more than 15,000 students.
